Our prized robot Kevin is the life of the party! He is put together with nuts, bolts, unconditional love, and a lot of duct tape. All of our parts come from GoBilda (Linked below), and locally sourced, recycled materials. In addition, we often design our own 3d printed parts.

Here is a list of all the functions Kevin can perform in the 2024-25 FTC Game INTO THE DEEP:

• Score samples in the high bucket

• 16pt autonomous, using our custom odometry

• Score specimen on the high chamber

Our design is especially innovative this year. The arm extends out into the submersible to pick up a sample. Then, it comes back and transfers to the outtake bucket through a grate, allowing for instantaneous and reliable transfers. Finally, the sample is dumped out into the high bucket.
