May the mass times acceleration be with you.
We are a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team. FTC provides a platform for students to design, build, and program robots to compete in exciting challenges that test their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Through this program, participants not only gain hands-on experience in robotics but also develop invaluable life skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership. Learn more about us and what we do.
Here at FTC team 17230 Aluminum Falcons, we are committed to building a better world through STEAM, which stands for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Our team roster includes Miles Higginson, Calvin (Flash) Auman, Lewis Higginson, Ryan Davis, Ethan Lockhart, Sam Haney, Anna Auman, and our robot, Kevin. Together, we are gaining valuable experience to help us change the world.
Our team originates on Earth, in Sandy, Utah. We range from 7th to 11th grade and attend Brighton High, Butler Middle, and Albion Middle.
From our beginnings in the 2019 season, SKYSTONE, we have learned much and are still learning all there is to know about robotics. Our journey learning about mechanical and software engineering has been truly fun.
We are excited for the future, and are planning to continue robotics, and have plans to be even better next FTC season!
